The Cake

I wanted to make Jackson's cake for his birthday because I knew it would taste better than anything store bought. However, cutting the circles out of a bigger 9x9 size made icing it a little difficult. I did my best and the important thing is that he loved it!

When all the friends and fam were over for Jack's party, he wasn't really into the showing off and eating his cake while everyone watched. But after everyone left and it was just me, Daddy and Jack - he went nuts!

He was literally shoving the cake into his mouth by the handfuls!

He ate it all!

(Not really, but he did eat almost half! We were really proud of him)

Birthday Favorites!

I went a little overboard with 3 shirts but I couldn't help myself!

This was my favorite purchase! I picked out the fabric and found a wonderful person to make it for me. With camo and camero print, he definetly has the coolest napmat in school!

My First Haircut

Jackson had a lot of firsts this month. Daddy thought his hair was getting a little out of control so we took him to get his haircut before his birthday.
The stylist who did it was very fast - good thing because he was less than thrilled!

My First Easter!

Last year Jackson was not born yet, but I was counting the minutes during Easter weekend hoping it would be then! This year we went to church at 7:30am and then Gransie, Baba, Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Kevin came over for a yummy Easter dinner.

Here we are outside of the Church...

The best I could get...
Jack found some Easter eggs out in the front yard - I apologize for the outfit but this was AFTER his dinner - he DESPERATELY needed an outfit change as you will see in the below photos.

Let's just say he really likes baked beans and cupcakes... Grandma was the lucky one to give him a bath :)

Cupcakes...

Jacob's Mom April brought in cupcakes for St. Patrick's Day and Jackson loved them!

11 MONTHS OLD!

We had a little combo celebration this week - Jackson turned 11 months old and we participated in the St. Patrick's Day festivities. We didn't quite make it down to Greenville for the parade but for sure next year!

He is so proud of his walking and loves to go off and explore now... Daddy and me are pretty busy chasing him!

His first crayon experience - of course he had to eat it...

Can't you tell what he is thinking?? "Not ANOTHER picture!"
We rarely get a family photo op so I take what I can get :)

Grandpa wanted Jack to feel like he was at the parade so he gave him beads to wear

and eat...

I am trying to show off his outfit because I just LOVE his hat but it was too bright for him to look up. I know I went overboard with the green but what can I say, it IS my favorite color!

I love you Jackson Robert!

I love Pauly!

I just had to post this... I went to go see Pauly Shore in college and he was hilarious! It's almost 10 years later and we bought tickets to see him at the Improv hoping that my humor hadn't changed. Ryan and I went with some friends and had a great time! I got suckered in and bought a t-shirt which he signed and we got a picture - Still funny :)
