Hot off the press!
It may not be the best quality (and it's sideways) but I just HAD to show it. Jack's amazing teacher Amy got this on her digital camera for me.
I'm not exactly sure when you count your child's first steps... Jackson starting taking 2-3 steps at a time back in January just after he turned 9 months. But he is 10 months now and this is almost walking - or says his Mother ;)
Look out World because any day now he will be on the move!

Record Snow Fall in Dallas!
On Thursday, February 11th, we received 12.4 inches of snow - that is the most Dallas has ever gotten in one day! It was so pretty to see such a white Valentine's Day :)
The front of our house - I don't think our poor Texas plants are going to make it through this... Trees everywhere were dragging to the ground because the snow was so heavy.

Ski Trip 2010
The Donahue Family had a great time in Keystone, Colorado this January. We had across-the-hall condos with Gransie, Baba, and The Smiths - Bryan, Megan and Wyatt.
Jackson's first sled experience... we were outside for about 3 minutes before he had enough - of course I don't think it helped that Daddy put Jack's bare hand right in the snow! Maybe next year he will have more fun with it :)

Ryan, Jessy, Megan, Bryan, Aunt Barbara and Baba

The Donahue's and The Smith's were able to have Date Night while Gransie and Baba watched the boys. We went to dinner at the fondue restaurant at the top of the mountain. It was super yummy and this was our musical entertainment...

9 MONTHS OLD
Jack's birthday was back on January 16th, but we left for our ski trip 2 days later and I was waiting to get his pictures back. Plus, he just had his checkup last week.
We had Tori take his pictures again - she is the same one that took his Halloween pics. We just LOVE her! She is so good and she is amazing with kids!
Here is her website if anyone needs a photgrapher: http://www.recollections-photography.com/
Jackson is 29in long (80th %) and 20 1/2 lbs (40th %) and doing great!
He has 2 bottom teeth which started showing at about 8 months - we were wondering if he was ever going to get teeth! Dr. Mehendale says he's working on his top ones now...
Not sure if it's that or our vacation where he slept away from home OR his cold/ear infection/eye infection... but Daddy and me are back to getting up in the middle of the night with him. Hope he settles in soon - poor guy - too much going on these days.
We are trying all the foods we eat with him - some things he likes better than others but we're working on it. He just loves to be lazy and eat his jar foods where he doesn't have to chew!
This is our favorite picture... he's just chillin' - Such a cool dude!
