Ryan & I cannot believe a whole year has gone by already. Our first child is now 1 year old and he will be graduating high school before we know it!
His check up at the doctor went great - he is 22.5lbs and 29.5 inches long
Still only 2 bottom teeth BUT we can now see his top 4 teeth through his gums! They are right there and they must really hurt because my poor little guy has not been himself the past few days. Not to mention he is drooling like crazy! At least they will be done all at once rather than having him be in pain off and on for weeks.
Bottles have been gone since 10 months and we started mixing real milk at 11 months.
He is eating many new foods - don't get me wrong, he still has his picky days but he tries everything :)
Favorites are bananas and mandarin oranges - he eats them so fast I'm afraid he's gonna choke! He also loves waffles and fried shrimp... not together ;)
He waves hi and bye, claps, gives high fives and kisses - those are my favorite!!
Words (or versions of) include - mama, dada, book, ball, dog, duck, bye and he understands us when we tell him its time to go nite nite, take a bath, time to eat, go outside or bye bye and walk away (or not do something naughty). There are more but I won't list them all. He is working on sign language at school so we are trying to use them at home too.
I know I'm his mom but he seems very smart!
